Let's be honest here. Almost everybody were expecting for the Camelot arc next but no! The author has something else for us under their sleeves. Just when we thought the trouble and road making was over we get this... Yet another long and unending road!
Before I begin can we appreciate this manga panel if the child of hope?
So Varghese and Percival did met Meliodas prior?
16 years back Varghese, Percival's Gramps, was chased by King Arthur's men when he was rescued by Meliodas. He had the baby Percival in his arms and took refuge in the kingdoyof Lioness. Meliodas did offered him to raise Percival but Varghese refused saying he wants to raise Percival to be a healthy and kind hearted boy even if it costs his life. As Meliodas pointed out, he indeed kept his words!
Dark secret behind Jericho
All this time we were expecting trouble for king (or former king) Bartra but the reality was darker. It was a chaos knight who was captured and kept as prisoner in Lioness castle. He was the only way to somehow connect Britannia with the eternal kingdom of Camelot. However Lancelot was too late to defeat Jericho. Her goal was to rescue the knight but sensing her defeat she killed him. AKA, Even after gathering all the four knights, performing all the rituals and overcoming all the threats so far, they have no way of reaching Camelot!
To gain something you gotta lose something. However Arthur gain something in both way and hands the losing part to the land of Britannia
Ma man can create whatever he wants but the cost... The cost will be dissaperance of stuffs from overworld (Britannia). Though the gain is his. He can create infrastructure in Camelot and deal some heavy damage to overworld. (Hate to admit it but that's what the multinational companies/Corporates are doing now-a-day's. They develop themselves personally and the government supporting them eg: US, China and most of Western Europe by destroying the 3rd world countries and making the lives of these people a hell!). The rucus affect a huge amount of lands, even the lands where many villages stood proudly. Ordan (The village of the now Holy Knight Pelio) being one of them.
Tristan seems to be short tampered, just like his father in his Demon Prince days!
Man, he was visibly annoyed of the news and was questioning the existance of discussion. He really need some patience in the long run.
Percival, really the child of hope.
While others were unhappy about the incidence and were quite confused Percival let out a brilliant quest. An adventuring quest. As he mentioned "We might find some other way to Camelot" raising hope for rest of the crew! He really is a Child of hope.
Something out of context...
Doncha think Percival is so similar to Anya (Spy x Family) in a lot of way? I definitely do!
What did I like?
Everything, from the tense plot to a hope raising one... Everything was great about this chapter!
What did I not like?
Our hero's suffering so much because of us. Had we not asked for the continuation of Seven Deadly Sins they might not have to encounter the recent events!
LOL JK
Overall rating
9/10 easily
So that's all for today. Hope you enjoy my review. See you next week. Until that folks, have a great day 😉
So how long it's been since things were last calm? Just how many events occurred during all these chapters? Pelgarde VS Knights, Pelgarde vs Percival, Pelgarde vs Tristan, Jericho vs Chion and X (The other guy I forgot the name of), Jericho vs Guila, Jericho vs Lancelot, Melascula and Galand vs Percival, Melascula and Galand vs Kinghs, Melagaland vs Percival, Melagaland vs Tristan, Melagaland vs Gawain, Arthur vs Tristan, Arthur vs Meliodas, Arthur vs Lancelot and how much??? I might have missed one or two fight, please include them if I do. Though there ain't any action or fight in this chapter, I appreciate it. Even I was getting tired of the fight scenes (not that they were bad but how long would you like the action genre?). Aight, let the peace time begin... Well, Temporary peace time.
Peace after a really really really long time... But in reality it's a short period of time.
Animanga (Anime and Manga) logic. What seems like ages of events actually gets over within a single day. Same again! All the events took place within a single day (I believe there were no nights... Or so I remember). Weird right?
So Thatcher is Lancelot's master?
Never in my life even for a blink of an eye did I expected Lancelot's teacher be someone of his age... Wait a minute! DOES THAT MEANS SHE'S THE LADY OF THE LAKE????????
Something about Tristan tells me he's gonna get a huge power boost!
You know when charecters in animanga gains power level? When they are either defeated by their opponent and/or feel embarrassed or wants to impress someone or wants to change someone's POV of that particular individual... All of which is in Tristan's case. He was defeated by Arthur and then what he percived as humiliation by Meliodas. He wants to show he is as capable as Arthur. Let's hope we get another OP protagonist soon.
Our hero team finally get what it deserves!
Yeah, a relaxation period after a long day of work! And by our hero team I mean Percival, Donny, Nasiens and Anne. They were so tired... Tired enough not to fall on each other 😆. Lancelot asked them for a dinner at restaurant and guess what... They were sound asleep.
For some reason I believe I know who King and Diane's daughter is...
You guys remember a girl once told Lancelot about her feelings for him? She might be our wanted culprit.
Even more mystry...
You guy's remember Lance (back than Sin the fox) was once called by a lady at middle of a night? Who was she? Maybe some imposter... Among us? Pim pim pimpim pimpim pim, pimpimpim... AMOGUS!
What did I like?
Most of the things... It was a nice and calm and relaxing chapter after such a long time! 8/10.
What did I not like?
Well, nothing apparently. Everything seems fine.
So that's all for today. I posted it late for I am busy with school now. Will wait until the new chapter is released. Till then folks, have a great day 😉
Okay, let's begin with a really funny image (might be uncomfortable for some)
Man Percy! Have some dignity!
Okay, back on topic
Arthur was finally revealed last day! He's almighty guys! A false hope and corrupted mind! And BTW, this chapter was already a whole lot epic but... but, next chapter is gonna be filled with way more epicness, nostalgia and old emotions!!!
Let's getto it!
Stand back Tristan. You are no match for the creator himself (or the possessor of creator)
Well, Tristan was just no match! He leaped forward and seems as if he's gonna kill Arthur and fill his thirst... that didn't happen. Arthur didn't even need to push him or sth... Tristan was pushed back without Arthur even having the need to touch him! Later after some events Tristan again rose up and tried to attack Arthur with Magic which again, didn't affect him a bit. Instead Arthur had almost killed Tristan with some kindda magic but was saved by somebody we all were expecting in this chapter!
Now we know how Jericho was convinced and...
ATTACK ON TITAN REFERENCE (Not JoJo reference)
If you are an Attack on Titan viewer you must remember the beginning of Rumbling... When Eren communicated with the whole world using his power. Arthur did the same (the difference being it were just the people of kingdom of Lioness who were involved, not whole Britannia!
He used some form of power to communicate inside their mind and made them see him.
Another difference being Eren made those people scared to death but Arthur gave them hope of meeting with their beloved once. He was trying to brainwash the people of Britannia about giving them hope of meeting with their beloved once but I hardly doubt it. We all remember what happened to Jericho, right? She died even before her wish come true (RIP Jericho 😢😭). Even Percy saw his Gramps among them and might have made up his mind. Arthur was in a way kind to them but saying he won't force them but my dude's brainwashing them! Reminds me of Ludociel when he brainwashed a ton of people.
And guess who's back?
The one who saved Tristan is back.
But Turner, who is saviour of Tristan?
Good question, guess who?
Who?
Find out yet?
Yes, it is one of our favourite charecter,
The most unexpected text during that moment (thought I was expecting it)
Meliodas Dono! He's back guys! He's back! Finally after a long wait of two and half years we get to see Arthur in action followed by Meliodas soon!
(Speaking of which both the father and son looks similar right?)
Okay, so after a really really long time we will get to see clash between two old charecters, aka the veteran kings, Meliodas and Arthur!
What did I like?
Everything! Each and every aspect of the entire chapter! Power, Magic and strength depiction of the epic art style and depiction. Nakaba Sensei and his editors work really hard. Let's hope we get a good studio for Four Knights of Apocalypse or all these hardworks will be for nothing! 100/10 for me
What did I not like?
Nothing apparently. Everything's great!
Aight guys, that's all for today. I know it ain't much but man! Gotta say, Nakaba wasn't lying when he said Arthur's gonna be a nightmare for many!
So with that folks, have a great day 😉
Hendrickson
It's kindda weird seeing how Hendrickson has evolved. From an evil villain to the final boss of season 1 to a hard working warrior to a loyal servent (Ludociel) to a life saver (Margaret) to a doctor. And fun fact: He's not retired yet!
Dreyfus age only physically. Mentally he's still the one we know
Oh well, remember when Dreyfus was introduced in season 1? Ah! One of the tough villain even the SDS has trouble handling. Even after gaining his freedom from Fraudrin (speaking of freedom, yesterday was the independence day of Ukraine. Happy independence day if any Ukrainians are watching this) he was as strong as he was. Though not comparable to Seven Deadly Sins or Ten Commandments or Four Arcangels but he did helped a lot during the holy war and aftermath. Great seeing him back but from the looks of it he's gonna have some really unbearable pain after this battle (as he said, he's ageing right now). Still, fighting against the mutant version of the former two commandments is just impressive. Guess he has gone stronger too.
Real form of Gawain is Kawaii
Hol on! Isn't this the same girl which met Lancelot? I mean correct me in case I'm wrong but if I remember correctly they certainly look similar! + It's another reference to Lord Escanor, his day and night form! She really looks cute but I wonder, why is it that even after shrinking. I do remember somebody once theorised about the shrunken form of Gawain (@MysteryJC @Ty Thom @Pashivu did any of you did? If yes, congratulations! You were correct)
Donny is an underrated guy... Or so I would have said if it was the Old Nakaba.
Oh well, we all know how a plenty of charecter were wasted. Thankfully Nakaba ain't repeating the same mistake again. He has introduced many charecters yet again but the only difference being it's not just a few charecters doing everything. Even the weak charecters have their time to shine. Donny for example is a real life saver of Tristan and Percival. Man! This guy really has a potential.
Nasiens, another of the underrated guy.
Well, thanks to him a lot of time was saved in the curing. He also damaged Melagaland to certain extent. He really is following his path.
Isolde is more than what we thought.
Oh well, who thought we might see another Gawain after the real Gawain is out of scene? Well, seems like Isolde is. Her height and body structure is really similar to that of Gawain, not to ignore her confidence and firmness. IK she cannot be as strong as Gawain is but yes, she seems really angry. However the fact is she's doing all these for her self proclaimed love, Tristan (BTW, Tristan don't seem to have any interest for her)
The fight continues
Well, nothing to say about that. It's still the same. But the difference being with the reduction of Gawain the four knights are kindda outmatched. Percival and Tristan were ded if it was not Donny who saved them. They were lucky!
Melagaland, nothing new about it
Well, it's the same ol' Melagaland. Strong enough to wipe out the entire capital. Though they did took some damage from Hendrickson and Nasien's poison and Dreyfus'es attack. Well, let's see where it escalates.
Where is Meliodas and Gilthunder?
Well, now that Jericho's been defeated Bartra is comparatively safe. Both Mel and Gil are inside the capital. When are they coming inside the battle ground? Both of them together can stop Melagaland... Or can they?
That's it. Another good (but a little boring) chapter.
What did I like?
Most of the things. I mean almost everything.
What did I not like?
Well, except the fact the chapter is a little boring compared to the others... Only that. But guess it's a hint of something big (When in anime/manga a relatively boring chapter comes out something big's gonna happen soon.
Will wait for the next chapter. With that folks have a great day 😉
(A/n: I was took busy this week to read any of the chapters so here are the reviews now)
So yeah, as the chapters progresses we get to see Jericho about to kill Guila but Lancelot saved the day in time. Finally we get to know about what really happened to Jericho and gotta admit... She's a creep! I mean come on! Who falls for a child half of your age whom you treated like a brother and you in fact are his master!!!
We finally now know the amount of time period they took to escape the void. 3 years! Jericho because she couldn't control her emotions and somehow met Arthur who happen to give her the pleasure she wanted... A world where she's with a grown up Lancelot and he wants him... Only him. As Lancelot mentioned it's all a lie and an antic of Arthur to trick Jericho and before anything could happen... In a blink of an eye... Everything went black for Jericho.
What did I like?
Well ofc not the plot for this chapter. But yeah, atleast we get to know about something.
What did I not like?
The perverted mind of Jericho!
Well well well
How long has it been since season 1 aired? 2014, time passes so quickly right? An incident taking place in season 1 is impacting the current storyline.
How many of you remember the Gowther - Guila stuff? Yes, the brainwashed love stuff. While most of the new generation demons were defeated by Ban and Dawn Roar, Guila's part was suppressed inside her and nobody cared. That's one thing Gowther did well back than because if not Guila would have been dead today.
Jericho for some reason is completely evil... only Chaos knows why? She somehow is stronger too (Maybe Arthur has some hands behind this too). Both of 'em were in equal terms when Jericho decided to end it quickly. She froze Guila and was about to leave when Guila took on her Demon form. Funny to think how Hendrickson being an expert took 20+ years to master the Demon arts but Guila being a noob did it in 16-17 years? Really insane. She did surprised Jericho and went on a head-to-head sword fight. In between Jericho incompletely revealed her turns of events. It had something to do with Lancelot.
It might sound weird but remember when Angalhad said something is really fishy about Lancelot (back then Sin). Is Lancelot evil? I mean think about it... it might be a possibility!
Continuing Jericho completely outdo Guila (which somewhat prove Jericho is now stronger than the later). She froze her and was about to obliterate her when suddenly Lancelot appeared out of nowhere. He saved Guila and is about to take on his former master whome he treated as an older sister once!
What did I like about this chapter?
Everything, every aspect, every projectile everything! The depiction of each and every move! Ah! Pleasure to my eyes!
What did I not like?
Well let's be honest here how could you not like something about this chapter?
Rating
10/10
With that folks, have a great day 😉
Guila VS Jericho!!! Gotta say, I love the dynamic of the fight. I truly believe they're equally powerful. I'm curious as to why she's on Arthur's side cuz I doubt the brainwashing theories everyone has been mentioning. The only time we've notice and seen any evidence of Brainwashing is from Galand and Melascula (still don't know if he can only brainwash revived people or only chose to brainwash those that are not human). Nevertheless, I love the monologue on giving information in the chapter for those who do not read the previous work of Nakaba (The Seven deadly sins). And post time skip Jericho looks like Gelda (without her hair ornament)
FYI, shock to know Tristan wins in an arm wrestle between Percival and Lancelot
Just watched the series and was wondering

Heyy I’m new here. I just have a question? Does Ban and Jericho end up together?
I mean they look rlly cute together and have that matching strand of hair haha
I know Elaine isn’t as young as she looks, maybe even older than Ban, therefore can be a ship, but it’s just kind of weird seeing a child kissing a grown man.
But I guess Elaine is dead, so would Ban end up with Jericho or...?
