The Annwfyn Gladiator Festival「アンヌヴン剣闘祭, Annuvun Kentō-sai」 is a great tournament organized by Beltreipe in the Cauldron of Annwfyn.
Description[]
This festival allows each of the inhabitants of the Kingdom of Camelot to have their greatest wish granted by Beltreipe. Typically, prisoners of the Cauldron of Annwfyn attend in the hopes of getting their freedom. However, others may attend to have a more personal wish granted.
History[]
Beltreipe organizes this festival as a means to create a strong source of desire to help maintain Camelot, as well as a process to find potential prospects for the kingdom's Holy Knights.
Balin was the winner of the previous tournament but refused to take the prize or leave the Cauldron of Annwfyn to participate again.
Gawain informs the Percival Platoon about how this festival may be their best chance to take down Beltreipe as well as find their estranged companions. As they join up, they find the Tristan Platoon and some of their Liones allies participating.
Arena[]
The festival takes place in a gigantic crane-shaped crystal tower of 9,200 feet tall and 3,100 feet wide. It's a mirage-like structure only visible during the event.
Preliminary Event[]
The first stage of the festival is an All-Out Battle between all participants, which continues until only sixteen remain to move on to the main tournament.
Main Event[]
The main event consists in a single-elimination tournament between the sixteen participants who qualified from the preliminary event. A draw determined who would fight against whom.
Rules[]
The winner of each fight can triumph over their opponent in several ways:[1]
- By killing them ;
- By making them lose consciousness ;
- By making them give up ;
- By throwing them out of the arena.
