The Seven Deadly Sins「七つの大罪, Nanatsu no Taizai」 is a manga written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki, and is currently serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine. The plot features is set in a world similar to the European Middle Ages, with its titular group of knights each representing a seven deadly sins.

As of January 2015, the manga has had over 10 million copies in circulation. An anime adaptation of 24 episodes, produced by A-1 Pictures spanned from October 2014 to March 2015. The manga has been licensed by Kodansha Comics USA for English publication in North America, and is digitally released by Crunchyroll in over 170 countries as they are published in Japan.

The Seven Deadly Sins, a group of legendary knights who conspired to overthrow the kingdom of Liones, were said to have been eradicated by the Holy Knights, although rumors about them being alive continue to persist. Ten years later, the Holy Knights stage a coup d'état and capture the king, becoming the new, tyrannical rulers of the kingdom. Elizabeth Liones, the third princess, sets out on a journey to find the Seven Deadly Sins, and to enlist their help in taking back the kingdom at all costs and fate seems to bring all 6 members of the seven deadly sins together or is it fate?
