The Boy Sets Out on Adventure「
Summary[]
On a island above the clouds known as God's Finger, a young teen named Percival lives alone with his grandfather, Varghese, in their small cabin. Realizing tomorrow is Percival's 16th birthday, as the boy forgot, Varghese tries to convince Percival to explore the outside world but he doesn't show interest.
Later that night, as the two are eating sky fish, Percival hears his grandfather speak a motto in his drunken state and as they go to bed, Percival sneaks out to go to the top of the hill and ponders on what his grandfather spoke of. He falls asleep and dreams of Varghese saying something to him but is unable to make it out.
Waking up the next morning, he sees a fog has settled over God's Finger and an unknown knight in red armor appears on a flying boat and suddenly attacks him and his grandfather, leaving them both for dead in his attempt to prevent the coming of four prophecised individuals known as the Four Knights of the Apocalypse. As Percival tries to tend to his grandfather, the latter reveals the man to be his son and Percival's father, Ironside.
