Short Summary[]
Zeldris is ordered by the Demon King to get Meliodas and kill the Seven Deadly Sins. Zeldris tries to contact the other Commandments but with no results. Chandler and Cusack, Meliodas and Zeldris' former masters respectively, appears.
Long Summary[]
Zeldris questions the Demon King's orders to bring back Meliodas, just so they can crown him as the new king, and says that he cannot abide by these orders, only for the Demon King to insist that he will hear no objection. He then informs Zeldris that the Seven Deadly Sins are on their way to him to try and break the curse he put on Elizabeth. He notes that they're really the only threat left to the Demon Clan and orders Zeldris to kill the rest of the Sins after getting Meliodas before they become an even bigger threat. He tells Zeldris he shall continue watching from Purgatory.
After walking out of the castle, Zeldris telepathically orders all of the Ten Commandments to stop what they're doing and reconvene at Camelot. When he has no answer, he questions why no-one's responding. After recounting that Galand was defeated, he calls out for Melascula and Grayroad to answer him but both are stuck in Merlin's test tubes. Zeldris then questions if Fraudrin is dead too while in Liones, both Griamore and Veronica stand in front of a grave they made for the Demon.
Zeldris then calls out for Monspeet and Derieri to respond. At a village, in a random hut, Monspeet questions if it's alright not to respond to Zeldris. Derieri tells him to answer if he wants to but Monspeet says he's fine living a quiet life like this, prompting Derieri to call him a weirdo. She then questions why Meliodas didn't kill them since after their Indura transformation, they only had one heart left and if he got rid of that, then they would've died.
Monspeet then recounts how, 3,000 years ago, it was the Goddess Elizabeth and Meliodas who helped them after they passed out from their Indura transformation when they could've killed them and decides that the answer is something only they know, though he says that they probably realised what the answer was too. A girl from the village then comes in and tells Derieri a girl like her shouldn't sit all sprawled out like that.
When she lays a basket of food and wine, Monspeet thanks her for taking care of them and she jovially notes that when they crashed into her house, she thought they were a Goddess from legend. She then recalls how they killed the bear that was ravaging their farmlands and Derieri notes that it was delicious. Smiling, the girl says that her hand-me-downs really do suit Derieri. Back at Camelot, Zeldris questions why no-one is responding.
Gloxinia then telepathically greets him, informing him he's with Drole. Zeldris asks why he didn't respond immediately and Gloxinia admits he was unsure whether they should respond before revealing both he and Drole have decided to leave the Ten Commandments as they've come to regret the choices they made. After Zeldris comments on how it seems Fairies and Giants are incompatible with Demons in the end, Gloxinia notices the mark on his chest disappear.
He questions if this means he's been relieved from his Commandment and Drole suddenly asks Gloxinia to check if the mark on his butt has disappeared, leading to Gloxinia to note that his eyes have turned back to normal so he probably lost his Commandment too. At Camelot, Zeldris notes that Estarossa is still in a coma, meaning that the Ten Commandments have been utterly vanquished. Smirking, Hellblaze begins flaring around Zeldris and the mark on his forehead expands.
He proclaims that's fine as he will take care of this all on his own and prove that he is the one most worthy to become Demon King. A voice states that they can envision Zeldris on the throne and asks him to use them for assistance. Zeldris then turns around to see Cusack and Chandler. When he questions how they got free, a bowing Cusack admits the Coffin of Eternal Darkness binded them tighter because of how strong they are but since the seal was weakened, they managed to slip through.
He then informs Zeldris that he and Chandler overheard the latter part of his talk with the Demon King and requests that he leave the extermination of the Seven Deadly Sins, the Fairy King and the King of the Giants to him. Zeldris orders Cusack to stand and says he did well to return as the vacancy of the nine will be more than filled with them here. Cusack says he's unworthy of such praise, prompting Chandler to sarcastically comment on how touching this reunion between master and student is. Cusack tells him not to be upset as they will be able to offer their services to the Demon Army once more as Cusack will act as Zeldris's old teacher and Chandler will act as Meliodas's.
