The Pacifier Demon「おしゃぶりの鬼, Oshaburi no Oni」 is the 237th chapter of the manga, Nanatsu no Taizai.

Short Summary[]

The Seven Deadly Sins begin fighting Chandler to defend Meliodas and Elizabeth.

Long Summary[]

At Camelot, Cusack expresses his disappointment in being unable to fight the Seven Deadly Sins. Zeldris points out he could've gone with Chandler but Cusack asserts that his most important mission is to protect Zeldris. The Prince warns Cusack not to underestimate the Seven Deadly Sins but Cusack assures him that Chandler's bloodlust hasn't changed at all and that the Pacifier Demon is still in top shape. At the Boar Hat, Chandler proclaims he will never forgive Elizabeth before hitting the Perfect Cube with his staff and destroying it.

Merlin recognises that Chandler can use Absolute Cancel and tells Elizabeth to get down as she attempts to use Magic Seal. However, Chandler reflects the attack back at Merlin and the witch questions how, since that's Meliodas's technique, leading Chandler to reveal that he was the one who taught Meliodas how to use Full Counter. Merlin then seemingly vanishes as her clothes and Aldan drop to the floor. Hawk questions where Merlin went and Chandler notes that it was her magic that ended up sealed and that the magic she cast upon herself has disappeared.

Chandler then notes that must be her true form as he sees a child-like Merlin crawls out of her larger clothes. Merlin questions how she could've let this happen to herself and Chandler then recognises Merlin's true form, asking if she's the Daughter of Belialuin. Suddenly, Diane's hand comes through the door and she grabs both Elizabeth and Meliodas. Taking them out, Diane asks Elizabeth what happened and King asks who attacked. Floating in the air, Chandler measures Diane's, King's and Gowther's as 8,000, 40,000 and 35,400 respectively.

He then recognises Gowther as the Demon Gowther's doll and asks why he's with this group after deserting the Ten Commandments. King asks Gowther who he is and Gowther reveals that Chandler is one of the highest-ranking Demons and is Meliodas's master. Chandler then realises that this group is the Seven Deadly Sins and notes that while the Demon King wants them dead, he doesn't really care. He requests that they hand over Meliodas and Elizabeth and in exchange, he'll let them go alive. Diane refuses, declaring that both Elizabeth and Meliodas are their friends, much to Chandler's irritation.

He then casts Microscopic, which causes Diane to get smaller. She asserts that she can still fight human-sized, only to realise she's been shrunk down to the size of a bug. In the Boar Hat, Merlin tries getting Escanor to wake up but she notices he's completely reverted back to his night form and exclaims that she didn't think Chandler could bring true night with him. Outside, Chandler asks the Sins if they like the dark, noting that when it is night, a Demon's power grows stronger.

As Meliodas begins stirring because of the night, King and Gowther decide to formulate an attack. Suddenly, Chandler summons Meteorworks, bringing forth multiple meteors from the sky and causing them to rain down. Hawk Mama attempts to evade the incoming hail of meteors but falls down. Chandler calls these meteors, fireworks fitting for Meliodas's grand return, only to then notice King and Gowther's Combined Technique: Celestial Arrow, where Gowther sits on a flying Hawk in his Tyrant Dragon form, having summoned Herritt and King lining up his Chastiefol with Herritt's bowstring, so it pulls back like an arrow.
