Dalflare Range「ダルフレア山脈, Darufurea Sanmyaku」, also known as the "Peaks of Fear"「おそろしの山, Osoroshi no Yama」, is a mountain range in southern Britannia separating Cant from Liones.
Background[]
Dalflare Range is a place feared by several stories of dangers that surround it.
The range is said to have spiritual powers that cause visions of future loves or your future selves.
After the New Holy War, several surviving demons who deserted the fight established a village there under Gowther's supervision, using a magic circle to ward off those with bad intentions and also create an illusion that made them look like humans. This created the rumor of a village inhabited by man-eating ogres.
Nearby there are dimensional caves whose crystals are connected to the Capital of the Dead.
Plot[]
Dalflare Range arc[]
The Percival Platoon pass through the Dalflare Range during their journey towards Liones. There, Donny, Sin and Percival discover a hidden village, while Anghalhad and Nasiens meet a man named Ardbeg who reveals to be actually a Holy Knight of Camelot who tricks them into raising the barrier that protected the village that is revealed to be inhabited by demons.
Having made friends with the peaceful demons of the village, Percival's group is forced to fight against Ardbeg who wanted to destroy them in revenge for the tragedies of the Holy War. After defeating the beast Cernunnos, Percival and his friends are tricked by Ardbeg who uses his Reverse power to turn them into babies. However, they are saved by Gowther, who had disguised himself as the village wise man, and managed to make peace with Ardbeg. Unfortunately, an attack from Tamdhu kills Ardbeg.
