Despair「
Description[]
Despair allows Diodora to reflect any damage inflicted to him back onto his attacker, while he remains unharmed, even after suffering fatal injuries.
If Diodora manages to kill his attacker, he would be able to absorb their Powers. By doing so, Diodora's body instinctively adapts to use it. When he absorbed Rothes' Gatekeeper, he learns to perform the hand sings needed to make it function.
However, it seems an injury must be severe enough before it can be transferred back onto the attacker. This was shown when Nasiens middle finger remained unharmed after he scratched Diodora's.

- Gatekeeper「
門番 , Gētokīpā」: A power capable of opening rifts with Purgatory and provide resistance to its extreme conditions. Diodora absorbed this Power after killing Rothes. - Invocation「
調伏 , Invokēshon」: A power that allows the user to call creatures, namely Purgatory beasts summoned from Gatekeeper to do their bidding. Diodora absorbed this power after killing Turret.
Trivia[]
- Diodora considers this Power a "gift from the Gods" after he was plunged into the depths of despair, so that he could take revenge on all that exists.
- This Power could be considered the counterpart of Percival's Hope.
