Duelist「
Description[]
This power allows Mortlach to force a chosen opponent to accept a duel. As soon as Mortlach declares a duel and the opponent accepts, they are both transported to a "dueling chamber", a separate dimension from which is impossible to leave until a winner emerge.[1]
The challenge works according to the following rules:
- The winner is the one who first manages either to put the opponent out of action: either by killing him or by knocking him out.
- The two "duelists" cannot use Magic, and can only fight each other with physical attacks.
Behind each "duelist" stands a crystal monument in the shape of what they value the most.[2]
Trivia[]
- Mortlach's monument took the shape of his nephew, Diodora.[3]
- Percival's monument took the shape of Varghese, Zeldris, Gelda, Lancelot, Donny, Nasiens, Anghalhad, Howzer, Dolchomonte, Meliodas, Tristan, Isolde, Jade, Gawain and a unknown Holy Knight of Liones.[4]
