The Fairy Realm「妖精界」 is the homeland of the Fairy Clan.

Background

The Fairy Realm has a green sky, which is said to be the scattered leaves and branches of the Sacred Tree.

It has various plants with unique characteristics, such as the gigantic God's Seats that sprout from the root of the Sacred Tree, mullein that provide resistance to poisons, and the Snow Coral that grow in cold caverns and has a paralyzing pollen. One of the most dangerous are the Blood Skull Fruits while taking a proper dose, they have the effect of letting the consumer see people not from this world, but in the case of an overdose of these fruits, the consumer will fall into a permanent state of apparent death. However, they can awake trought the kiss of the person they love.

Much like the miasma of the Demon Realm, the Fairy Realm has an atmosphere infused with toxins that make the air thicker and sweeter, but can cause dizziness and asthma in Humans who remain exposed for too long. They therefore need Mullein Pills to increase their resistance to toxins.

History

According to the Lady of the Lake, the Fairy Realm was created alongside the Fairy Clan by the Sacred Tree, after it was given birth by Chaos.

Nothing is known about the realm except that the Fairy King's Forest, where the Sacred Tree itself lies, is the bridge between it and Britannia and that all Faries are born from flowers and such within the Fairy Realm while the Fairy King and their siblings are born directly from the Sacred Tree.

After the second Holy War, the Fairy King Harlequin and Giant Queen Diane took up residence in the Fairy Realm where they had their seven children.

Plot

Fairy Realm arc

Nasiens took up residence in the Fairy Realm for two years, tending to Percival's comatose body and searching for a way to awaken him. Nasiens came under the care of King and Diane, later revealing that Nasiens is actually their eldest biological child, having been switched as a baby with the human Mertyl.

There, a sorcerer from Camelot under the orders of one of the Four Evils, Worreldane, invades the Fairy Realm to steal the Drug of Yore. In the ensuing battle, Nasiens is chosen by the Sacred Tree as the future Fairy King, and Percival finally awakens to save Nasiens' life. However, despite being defeated, Worreldane manages to steal the Drug of Yore.

Known Places

• Tunnel of Whispers「囁きのトンネル, Sasayaki no Tonneru」: Officially, this tunnel is so called because the whispers of plants can be heard there, but in reality, it is mainly a gathering place for certain Spirits whose murmurs even the Fairies can only hear by remaining very calm and silent.
• God's Seats「カミノコシカケ, Kami no Koshikake」: These gigantic, mountain-like mushrooms grow on the roots of the Sacred Tree. The Fairy King and his family primarily use them as a throne for audiences with their subjects.
• Lake Oloroso「オロロソの湖, Ororoso no Mizuumi」: This lake is a secret place known to very few fairies, especially those related to the Fairy King. There, they can purify their bodies and minds.
