Hraesvelgr「フレースヴェルグ」 is one of the Great Demonic Beasts of Yggdrasil, appearing in The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross.
Appearance[]
Different variants exists. Normally Hraesvelgr resembles a white, griffin-like creature with some spots of green around its neck and a wingspan larger than a Giant. Some variants may have different eye colors or horns on their heads, and others could be wearing a set of blue armor.
Personality[]
Hraesvelgr has a animal instinct, though it knows when to defend itself and usually tends to flaps its wings to move the clouds around the world.
History[]
Located in North end of the world of Midgard, Hraesvelgr flaps its wings to create storms but at some point it stopped flapping its wings, leading Thonar to theorize that is the reason for the never-ending winter in Midgard.

Grand Cross[]
The Seven Deadly Sins, Hawk and Thonar went to its nest in hope of making flap its wings by provoking it in order to make the weather changes again.
Abilities and Powers[]
Thonar stated it flaps its wings to create storms and move clouds to create snow and rain, making it a very powerful beast.
- Hunting Dive: Hraesvelgr uses its claws to slash it's opponent.
- Air Blast: Hraesvelgr blasts its foes with powerful gusts of wind.
- Lightning Strike: Hraesvelgr shoots a powerful beam of lightning from its forehead.
- Flap Tornado: Hraesvelgr flaps its wings to create multiple tornados to attack its foes.
- Wind Explosion: Hraesvelgr increases its strengh, speed and power by creating a blue orb like object.
- Air Break: Hraesvelgr attacks its foes with a gust of wind.
- Jetstorm: Hraesvelgr creates a powerful burst of wind by moving very fast on its foes.

- Hraesvelgr is based in the creature from Norse mythology of the same name.
- Hraesvelgr, like other Demonic Beasts in the game, is listed as a member of the Fairy Race despite having no connection to them.
