Invincible「
Description[]
This power allows the user to nullify damage inflicted upon them, being able to withstand devastating magical and physical attacks without a scratch, making them invulnerable.
Balin calls it a quite simple power, yet very strong. Even Howzer's powerful wind attacks that defeated an Ancient Dragon failed to hurt him and emerged completely unharmed from Gawain's Exterminate Maximum Ray that destroyed the surrounding landscape. In her fight against Gawain, she tested several powerful elemental spells in order to cause damage to Balin, but not even freezing him almost to absolute zero had any effect.
However, a hidden weakness to this power is that it is unable to take both magical and physical damage at the same time. In turn, Balin must consciously switch between nullifying magical damage and physical damage. This was shown when Gawain struck him with Zanshoken, he was not cut, but received severe burns.[1] The user needs a minimum amount of time to switch between the negation types, becoming vulnerable to the type he is not negating during that interval.
Furthermore, this power only nullifies the "damage" received, not the attack itself. Therefore, attacks that affect the mind or do not seek to damage are still effective.
Also, like many other powers, it loses its effect if the user falls unconscious.
Trivia[]
- This power seems to combine the characteristics of the Demon King's immunity to magical damage and the Supreme Deity's physical damage, but without the effect of strengthening and healing the user.
