Jade「ジェイド」 is a Holy Knight of Liones, serving under the Tristan Platoon.

Personality[]
Jade is shown to take his mission as a Holy Knight seriously, calling out to Isolde to stop attacking Percival, believing that he was simply a child. He was reluctant to attack him, hearing Chion's claims about him being a potential enemy, while not wanting to cause a panic, but soon joined in on the battle.
Same as Isolde and Chion, Jade is loyal to Tristan, following his orders without question; removing his power from Percival. However, while he does respect the Liones Prince, it is soon revealed that he hates Tristan because Isolde loves him, whereas Jade has hidden feelings for her and once lied telling her that he saved her when it was Tristan.
Jade shows respect for Holy Knights of higher ranks, such as Guila and those such as the Four Knights of the Apocalypse, showing annoyance that Chion attacked two of them. He, however, doesn't show the same respect for Donny, Howzer's nephew who quit training after a month. Despite telling Chion not to mock him, he laughs at Donny, showing almost some sense of entitlement.
History[]
Jade and Isolde have been friends since childhood. The two meet Chion right after this one escaped from his captivity, the three becoming inseparable since then.
One time, the three of them went to explore a forest where they were attacked by a Moss Dragon. The three were saved by Tristan, who carried back a wounded Isolde. Due to her injuries, Isolde believed that Jade carried her, which she was allowed to believe.
Plot[]
Chaos in Liones arc[]
Chion and Jade were looking at strange glowing stones in the sky when they see Isolde chasing Percival. Jade suggest that they must stop her, but seeing the Dragon Handle in the boy's possession, Chion says that he is a knight of Camelot so they both join Isolde. The three then attack Percival, Jade creates a dark sphere around Percival's head, blinding him. When Donny, Nasiens, and Anghalhad arrive to help Percival, Chion summons the Sylph again to suffocate them and allow Isolde to assault them with her Morning Star. When they intends to finish them off, the three are interrupted by the arrival of Tristan. Despite explaining that they are Knights of Camelot, Tristan says that they are wrong.
When Lancelot arrives to informs everyone that Gawain, the fourth Knight of the Apocalypse, has escaped, Chion, Jade and Tristan go looking for him at the East gate of the Kingdom. During the search, Chion questions if the Knights of the Apocalypse are really necessary. Jade reprimands him for doubting the King's prophecy, to which Chion says that he simply has a bad impression of Lancelot and Percival. Tristan defends his fellow Knights of the Apocalypse, but in the midst of the crowd, Chion separates from his companions and ambushes who he thinks is Gawain. Stating that he only trusts himself and not things like prophecies, Chion attempts to bury his target alive using his Gnome, but is stopped by Tristan and Jade who reveal that that guy is not Gawain but an apprentice who found the latter's armor.
Jade takes a detained Chion to the castle dungeon where he questions him about his actions. Chion berates him for doubting him childhood friend, but Jade insists that he tell him what his true intentions are to go against the Knights of the Apocalypse. Chion explains that he did it thinking of what was best for Tristan and to prevent him from being betrayed or delayed by these Knights of the Apocalypse in the worst case scenario. Jade concludes that Chion is too negative and asks why he just didn't express his concerns to Tristan, to which Chion says that he didn't want to be seen that way by the prince.
The two then discover a knight prowling the dungeon. Jade tells him that he is not authorized to be in that area where the prisoners of war are, but the Knight says that some apprentices shouldn't either. Upon discovering that he is a Knight of Camelot, Jade frees Chion and returns his staff to him. The knight deals a surprise sword blow to both of them, to which Jade recriminates his lack of chivalry even though the Knight calls it a victory initiative. Chion scoffs that initiative is useless if they manage to fight back, but the magic from the previous attack begins to freeze both of their bodies. However, the two are saved by an explosion created by Guila. Chion is amazed to see the Vice Great Holy Knight, stating all the background information that he has about her, wich annoys Jade. When the fight between Guila and the knight breaks out, Chion suggests to Jade that they leave, but Jade refuses. When Guila reveals the knight's identity as Jericho, Jade recognizes her as a former Holy Knight of Liones and Lancelot's former teacher.
When Chion and Jade try to help Guila when she is at a disadvantage, Jericho avoids it by creating a wall of ice that Jade is unable to break with his weapon. The two watch from there as Guila breaks free from being frozen by assuming a demon transformation, but is once again trapped by Jericho's ice. When Lancelot arrives and saves Guila by throwing Jericho through a wall, he orders Jade and Chion to bring a frozen Guila to Thetis.
The night after the battle against Arthur Pendragon, Jade and Chion watch Tristan train with his swords.
Wolnack arc[]
The day after the battle, Jade and Chion find Donny leaving his grandparents' house. Learning that he is Howzer's nephew, Chion scoffs at how he abandoned training and ran away and how his magic power only allows him to float things, to which Jade tells to stop although he laugh as well. Donny initially brushes him off saying that he is used to being made fun of, but when Chion insults Percival as well, Donny abruptly pulls him away with his Telekinesis and angrily tells him not to let him insult him. The feud is stopped by Gilthunder who informs Donny that he has an audience with the king and then questions Chion for his actions.
Jade and the rest of the Tristan Platoon participates in the meeting in the war room to discuss the situation with Camelot. When Thetis teleports everyone to a landscape that has been stripped of various parts, leaving only empty spaces, Meliodas explain that it is the result of Arthur creating a new Camelot, something he heard from Percival's Grandfather who was a former Holy Knight of Camelot. When everyone is left despairing that they have no way to get to Camelot, Isolde and the others are shocked when Percival suggests they go on an adventure together to find a solution.
On the day that everyone will finally set off in search of a way to Camelot, Meliodas divides the Four Knights into search teams. The Tristan Platoon is assigned to go to the old Camelot.
After leaving, the group arrives at Wolnack deciding to all stay there one night before splitting up in Dalmary. There Isolde is glad to see everyone preparing for the festival in honor of the dead, which she had already attended along with Jade and Chion. At the inn, Jade ends up sharing a room with Donny and Nasiens. Jade and Donny arrive to make amends for the differences between their two groups. Jade tells them how he, Isolde and Chion adore Tristan too much, especially Chion can't help his bad attitude when something involves Tristan. There, Nasiens comments that Jade has feelings for Isolde, which he embarrassedly acknowledges but takes away from its meaning since Isolde is in love with Tristan, although Nasiens says that there is nothing wrong with liking her even so. Jade then says that Nasiens has a crush on "the shorty", leaving Nasiens very upset. However, Donny reveals that he is referring to Anghalhad, to which Nasiens concedes with some relief, despite Donny scoffing that he likes a stubborn stuck-up girl.
When everyone decides to go to the festival that the town organizes in honor of the deceased, Chion and Isolde are alarmed that Tristan disappeared with an unknown woman. As everyone splits up to look for him, Jade follows Anghalhad and Isolde, surprising them and causing Isolde to attack him with her morning star.
Jade and Isolde have a loving conversation about their long time knowing each other, but when they remember the presence Anghalhad thought he felt, Jade jumps in to save Isolde from Teaninich's arrow.
Teaninich first delights in being able to kill two beautiful women, but is upset when she thinks Jade is watching her with perverted intent. Jade clarifies that she was looking at her weapon, which is useless since she has no more arrows, but Teaninich reveals that what she shot was not an arrow. When the snake that bites Isolde returns to Teaninich and then various other animals begin to attack them, she reveals that her Summon Creature power allows her to control small creatures. When everyone tries to escape, Teaninich sees it as useless since she can share senses with her animals, but then Jade uses his Darkness to blind her and by default, the animals as well.
Jade carries Isolde on his back as they run away, but they end up lost in the alleys of the town. Jade sucks the poison from Isolde's wound though he regrets that he can not do more for her like Tristan would. Isolde says that he equally helped her, such as a time when as children they got lost in a forest and were attacked by monsters, with Jade carrying her safely back. Jade is grim to hear what did not really happen, but when Isolde says that she always wanted to thank him, Jade asks her out on a date although Isolde takes it as a joke. Jade finally decides to confess his love to her, but then Macduff surprises them by removing all sound with his magic.
When Isolde manages to detonate one of her bombs on Macduff, Jade uses Flash to surprise him while the light prevents him from seeing. However, Jade realizes that Macduff is blind. As Macduff is about to attack Isolde, Jade steps in, ending up with his chest pierced by his arm. He would eventually die from his wounds before Percival can arrive to heal him and was unable to revive him like Percival did to himself earlier after getting his neck snapped by Macduff.
Jade's body is left in charge of Thetis, who would take it back home to rest in peace.

Jade has an undeniable admiration for Tristan, as do his mates, but deep down he has a certain grudge against him for having Isolde's heart.
Chion[]
Chion and Jade have been best friends since childhood. Despite disapproving his bad attitudes and actions, Jade is envious of how Chion doesn't let what others think shape him.
Isolde[]
Isolde has been friends with Jade since childhood. Jade has romantic feelings for her, but knowing how Isolde feels about Tristan, he never allowed himself to confess them, he only done so when he was on death’s door.
