Description[]
Kaleidoscope allows Guinevere to dream future events, but with as much realism as if they were happening in the present.
Kaleidoscope differs more particularly from Bartra's Vision on three points :
- Bartra's predictions are fuzzier and more vague, leaving him with only a very random interpretation of events, while Guinevere's predictions are extremely detailed in accuracy. Thus, she can know very precisely who will do what, where, when and what will be said: during her first meeting with Lancelot, she was able to speak in unison with him, leading him to believe that she was reading his mind.
- Unlike Bartra's predictions which necessarily involve the overall destiny of Britannia, those of Guinevere are limited only to what concerns her or those close to her. Furthermore, she remains incapable of seeing beyond her own death, at age 71.
- Guinevere also claims that since her predictions are intended to come true no matter what, attempting to go against them, or "defying fate" as she calls it, would involve "heavy consequences".
