Benwick「ベンウィック, Benwikku」 is a fairy kingdom ruled by King Ban and Queen Elaine. It is the only fairy kingdom that allows commerce with humans.
Background[]
Benwick was founded by Ban and Elaine after Arthur Pendragon's awakening as the King of Chaos and his victory against Cath Palug. There, Elaine gave birth to Lancelot and Ban sent Puora to ask Jericho to become his "mentor".
Plot[]
Side Story 6[]
A sleazy human merchant tried to fool the Fairies by offering them junk with made up claims behind the items in order to trade for their treasures and later tries to kidnap Lancelot but the son of Ban and Elaine easily thwarts him.
A few days later, Lancelot and Jericho disappear into an "Other World" and remain trapped there for three years during which Jericho begins to develop romantic feelings towards Lancelot, before being able to return to Benwick. From there, Jericho leaves Benwick to become a Holy Knight of the Kingdom of Camelot, while Lancelot becomes a Holy Knight of the Kingdom of Liones in order to return her to her parents.
Grudge of Edimburgh[]
Benwick appears briefly, when Gowther uses his Broadcast to warn Ban and Elaine that Elizabeth is sickened by a curse.
Wolnack arc[]
As part of the mission of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse and their allies to find a passage to the dimension where Camelot was rebuilt, Meliodas ordered Lancelot to go alone to Benwick to tell his parents that he was okay. However, Lancelot refuses, expressing regret for not being able to bring Jericho back to his senses and for not being able to have a weapon forged by Dubs.
Camelot Infiltration arc[]
During his fight against Ironside, Ban reveals that Lancelot had returned to Benwick, following the "death" of Percival. However, even after killing Mortlach whom he considered responsible, Lancelot continued to feel guilty for not having been able to save Percival to whom he had become attached.
