Meliodas vs. Twigo is a battle fought between Meliodas of the Seven Deadly Sins and Twigo, an Apprentice Holy Knight.
Prologue[]

Alioni ordering his men to chase Elizabeth.
After receiving a notice from the villagers about the mysterious and infamous Rust Knight being in Boar Hat, the knights of Beard of the Mountain Cat, including Alioni, chase him, suspecting him to be one of the Seven Deadly Sins. The knights were then quickly defeated by Hawk, with Alioni being pushed off a cliff. The Rust Knight, Elizabeth, continues her story, telling Meliodas and Hawk that she was searching for the Seven Deadly Sins in order to defeat the Holy Knights, explaining that they had orchestrated a coup d'etat. However, before she could complete her sentence, Twigo cuts off the cliff the three were standing on.
Battle[]

Twigo cuts a part of the cliff to kill Meliodas, Elizabeth and Hawk.
Finding Meliodas and Elizabeth, Twigo quickly cuts the part of the cliff they were standing on with his sword, and only then does he realize that he hadn't confirmed if they were the people in the report, and considers them as two unknown dead people. However, to his surprise, Meliodas jumps back from the cliff carrying everyone, including Alioni, which angered Twigo, since that changed his confirmed death toll. Upon seeing them, he comments that none of them resemble the images in the Seven Deadly Sins' wanted posters, and then immediately recognizes Elizabeth as the princess of the kingdom.[1]

Twigo is sent flying in the sky by Meliodas' attack.
Although there was a search order to bring Elizabeth back to the kingdom alive, he decides to kill her and report the death as an accidental. As she tries to escape, he swings his sword toward her and Meliodas, with the attack cutting everything in its path. The princess is saved by Meliodas, who then saves her again from Twigo's second attack, when she attempts to surrender, since she didn't want to involve Meliodas, whom she thought to be a ordinary civilian. Twigo, intending to kill them both, goes nearer and swings his sword again, but instead of killing them, takes the attack himself. He soon discovers Meliodas' true identity as one of the Seven Deadly Sins. However, he refuses to believe the fact and attacks again, only for his attack to be repelled and countered back at him by the Sin of Wrath, which defeats him and sends him flying.[2]
Aftermath[]
After a heavily injured Twigo lands on the ground, he immediately orders his subordinates to request for reinforcements from the kingdom. However, they are all suddenly sent flying away by Hawk's mother, who rises from the ground and astonishes the knights with her size.[3]
