A bard recites the prophecy of a three-years last-longing unceasing winter falling in the land of Yggdrasil and how heroes from a distant land are fated to save this world from the imminent chaos.
  +
  +
Somewhere, Sigurd and his squad, are in an expedition at the Elua Forest aiming to exterminate Demonic Beasts that escaped from Jotunnheim, outside of Ymir's eyelashes. After the prince sucessfully slays the snowfield beast that was giving a hard time to his soldiers, one of them reported to Sigurd about the rumored moving tavern runned by fearful demons being nearby, heading towards the Elua Plains.
  +
  +
Soldiers from the Kingdom of Xatenburg advance towards the Boar Hat, but they are defeated by Meliodas. The soldiers, fearing Meliodas' dragon symbol, together with his immense power, assume that him must be the incarnation of the Evil Dragon Fafnir. Sigurd, whose father was slayed by that dragon, wields Gram towards the Dragon Sin, surrounding him with a mysterious black aura that drastically reduces his powers and stamina. Not seeing any possibility of victory, Meliodas asks Hawk Mama to take the rest of the group to safety while him, Ban and King distracts the Prince of Xatenburg and his troop. In the verge of defeat, King summons Oslo at the last moment and the Black Hound manages to save the trio from Gram's final blow, taking them back to the Boar Hat with the rest of the group. However, Sigurd keep track of the Sins' magic with Gram, redirecting his troups towards their direction, aiming to exterminate Meliodas at any cost.

Before the Sins were dragged into this mysterious world, Meliodas was walking through the libray of Liones' castle when a book suddenly falls off from the shelf. Coincidentally, the book is the same one which Meliodas used to read to an infant Elizabeth regarding the story of a three years long winter. When the Dragon Sin put his attention away from the old book, he saw himself not the castle of Liones anymore, but in a strange snowfield. Shortly after, Meliodas reunites with the remaining sins, Elizabeth, Hawk and Hawk Mama, who were also mysteriously transported to this environment.
  +
  +
Now reunited, the group starts their work at the Boar Hat as a way to collect information from the costumers about this strange place. While serving their otherworldly costumers in need of a good local of leisure after enduring three years of unending winter, the group is astonished by a hooded figure that suddenly appeared at the tavern, calling Meliodas his dad before collapsing.
  +
  +
The hooded figure introduces himself as Fenrir a beastman who was searching for his father Loki. The Sins travel across looking for his father. This got the attention of Sigurd, who order his soldiers to advance towards the Boar Hat. Sigurd demanded them to surrender Fenrir. Fenrir was about to give himself up to protect the Sins, when Meliodas intervenes saying that even if he complied with Sigurd's demands they would still have attacked them regardless. Meliodas then gets sick and weakened due to Sigurd's sword effects.
  +
  +
Later, the bard Grimnir appears and decides to follow the Sins in hopes of writing stories about them.
  +
  +
Shall, a mysterious girl would with some ability to tell the future, also shows up at the tavern.
  +
  +
The Sins would also meet Thonar when she showed up at the Boar Hat.

Later, while following some clues about Loki whereabouts, they encounter the priest Vali who threatens them.
  +

Eventually, they arrive at a village being terrorized by the giants Greib and Gjalga, who are finally driven off by the Sins.
  +
  +
The Sins discover that Ymir's Wall, the only obstacle stopping the giants from invading, has collapsed.
  +
  +
Meliodas leaves alone, with Ban following, realizing Sigurd could track them. Meliodas has a second encounter with him, until Brunhild's own army intervenes during the fight and forces Sigurd to withdraw, not risking conflict with her nation. Ban and Fenrir goes out in search for a antidote for Meliodas' sickness.
  +
  +
While the Sins are trying to stop the rampaging Giants after the wall was breached, Vali appears, chasing after the Sins thinking they are minions of Demons. Diane attempts to turn into her Giant size to scare them off but ends up backfiring. Brunhild manages to make Vali stand down by taking on the Sins with her troop. The Sins manage to fight off all of Brunhild's troops off, until she is the only one left in the battlefield, though Vali still accuses them of being in league with Demons. Brunhild said knows they are not demons but warriors of a far away land and properly introduced herself. Luckily a thunderstorm gave the Sins opportunity to escape on Hawk Mama.

The Three Fates announce the coming of Ragnarok, causing everyone to panic, but Meliodas is confident to stop it at all costs.
  +
  +
Later, rumors of a "World Serpent" causing trouble catch the attention of the Sins. The Sins encounter Thonar once again in a seaside village and learn of a giant named Ymir causing trouble. After calming him down he apologizes and promises not to cause anymore trouble. Later, they hear about Jormungand's whereabouts, on their way to Basfolk Coast. After Meliodas quickly battles her, he and Merlin realizes that she was trying to stop the quakes rather than causing them and learns she is a child of Loki much like Fenrir.
  +
  +
Tyr is sent to take down Jormungand but the Sins side with her and eventually drive Tyr away. Tyr learns of Fenrir and tried to destroy him but is saved by Oslo.
  +
  +
Merlin suggests combining Diane and Jormungand's abilities, managing to stop the tremors. However, people end up falsely believing that Tyr defeated Jormungand, stopping the tremors. Merlin see this as a way of avoid being targeted if people knew Jormungand was still alive, much to Thonar and everyone else's frustration.

  +
King decides to go into Carmer Forest alone with Helbram. King meets a female Fairy named Puca and befriends her. The fairy leads him to the Alfr Village and tries to introduce King to her village's king, but this does not believe her story of King being from outside due to being eccentric. Puca take King to her home, where he is introduced to her friend Helka, who explains him about the Ritual of Arrival where Helka would be sent to the Goddess of Beauty Freyja's Kingdom. Freyja arrives at Puca's coming of age ceremony. However, Freyja controls Puca and some other Fairies to attack King but he easily fights them off. Freyja prepares herself to fight, but Helka offers herself to have Freyja spare King which she accepted.
  +
  +
While King and Puca cannot decide on what to do, Oslo arrived with Fenrir and Jormungand to their location. Fenrir explains he used his smell and Oslo's teleportation powers to track King down. This give King the idea of using the flute Helka gave to Puca earlier to have Fenrir track her smell down and Oslo teleporting them to Vanaheim to rescue Helka. Once there, they overhear a converstation between Freyja and her brother Freyr, learning that he is sick and that Helka is being used to heal him as a sacrifice. After fight off some guards, they reach the cage where Helka is being held prisoner, but she claims that she does not want to be rescued. Freyja shows up mad that despite sparing King he still continues to intervene, lecturing him about Helka's selfless desire, which King understand but despite it nonetheless, as he consider it still wrong. The two begin to fight, until Freyr intervenes to protect his sister. It is revealed that Freyja did everything to protect her brother. Freyr convince his sister to stop the sacrifice. Freyja wants her fairy subjects to not know about the world ending, only for King to say it is wrong. Helka is rescued and safely return to Alfheim, where the fairies there learn the truth and want King to be their new leader, but he declines.

However, they are convinced by Andvari, one of their own, to help the Sins out. The Sins clear the underground of monsters and reactivate the forge in hopes of forging the weapon Gleipnir for Fenrir. Fenrir begins doubting himself seeing how the Sins and his sister being more stronger than he is, but his sister reassured him, saying that he will get stronger like them eventually. When Tyr came to destroy the forge, Fenrir engages and manage to held his own. As the forge opens, Fenrir saves the God of War's life. It is then revealed by Andvari that Gleipnir never existed and that it was the power within Fenrir the entire time. It is revealed by Loki why he was despised by the other Gods as he killed Odin's son Baldr which Fenrir refused to accept. Meliodas plans to travel to the underworld of Niflheim to seek the truth from Baldr himself.

Then she shows them around and confirm that Baldr was indeed not killed by Loki. In fact, Loki helped him disappear to avoid disappointing his father as he did not want to succeed the throne, after discovering that strong souls of the dead were used as nourishment to maintain the Gods' immortality, which conflicted with his kind-hearted nature of caring about everything. Ragnarok: Fate of Gods its the first story arc part of the Grand Cross original series.

Synopsis

A bard recites the prophecy of a three-years last-longing unceasing winter falling in the land of Yggdrasil and how heroes from a distant land are fated to save this world from the imminent chaos.

The hooded figure introduces himself as Fenrir a beastman who was searching for his father Loki. The Sins travel across looking for his father. Fenrir was about to give himself up to protect the Sins, when Meliodas intervenes saying that even if he complied with Sigurd's demands they would still have attacked them regardless. Meliodas then gets sick and weakened due to Sigurd's sword effects.

Later, the bard Grimnir appears and decides to follow the Sins in hopes of writing stories about them.

Shall, a mysterious girl would with some ability to tell the future, also shows up at the tavern.

The Sins would also meet Thonar when she showed up at the Boar Hat.

Later, while following some clues about Loki whereabouts, they encounter the priest Vali who threatens them.

Eventually, they arrive at a village being terrorized by the giants Greib and Gjalga, who are finally driven off by the Sins.

The Sins discover that Ymir's Wall, the only obstacle stopping the giants from invading, has collapsed.

Brunhild said knows they are not demons but warriors of a far away land and properly introduced herself. Luckily a thunderstorm gave the Sins opportunity to escape on Hawk Mama.

While looking for the antidote, Ban and Fenrir sneaks in Xatenburg and manage to steal an antidote for Meliodas.

Sigurd has an encounter with Fafnir's ghost and battles him, coming on top.

Shall prophesies that a war would break out between giants and humans.

Elizabeth manages to heal and wake up Brunhild after a battle with Giants. Elizabeth discovers that Brunhild has feelings for Sigurd.

Ban ends fighting off some giants. Then, Ban meets the Valkyrie Megellda who attempts to kill him by stealing his strong soul. However, after discovering he was immortal, though disappointed, she decided to tag along as his "personal Valkyrie" until she finds a way to kill him.

Skadi fiercely wards off her fellow Giants after they attempted to harm humans.

After returning to the Boar Hat, Ban introduces Megellda to everyone.

Meliodas has a third encounter with Sigurd, with Brunhild joining in to help and to confirm if he's really evil or not.

When Sigurd attempts to use Gram to attack the Sins, Brunhild objects, wanting to hear the Sins out but to no avail. Hage stabs Sigurd and paralyze him to make things even for the Sins helping them out earlier and learning about Vali's scheme to start a war. Both sides withdraw.

The Three Fates announce the coming of Ragnarok, causing everyone to panic, but Meliodas is confident to stop it at all costs.

King decides to go into Carmer Forest alone with Helbram. King meets a female Fairy named Puca and befriends her. Elsewhere, Heimdallr learns what transpired in Vanaheim and Alfheim and the Seven Deadly Sins involvement. Then she says that they need to dealt with them, demanding Tyr to fix his blunder following his defeat.

Shall prophesies that Fenrir will get a strong weapon and the Sins go looking for Dvergr in hopes of forging the weapon for him. When they arrive underground at first, the Dvergr does not trust the Sins, revealing the Gods want them eliminated after they turned on them deeming them too dangerous and not wanting anymore weapons made. Baldr is shocked to learn that Loki got blamed and felt bad about it.

Meanwhile, Heimdallr witnesses Odin return. She intends to tell him what happened regardless of what actually transpired.

Hel and Baldr tell the Sins not to reveal the truth about his death fearing his father Odin would take his frustration out on humans to serve as example. Hel shows the Sins around but Nidhoggr arrives to cause tremors and attempts to devour the World Tree roots holding the Realm together. The Sins, Fenrir, Jormungand, Hel and Baldr manage to drive the beast away.
